In the two photos you can see with the manahelic differential pressure gauge the unfiltered air flow
in inch pounds of water from a 75cfm 4.65" diameter axial tube fan. These fans are used in our enclosures for the air cooling
and positive air flow. The second photo shows exactly how much the air flow pressure drops when a dirt bag type polyester
air filter is used as the air filter. Therefore, it is better to use a full dust enclosure with positve air flow that
means the filter is in front of the fan as you can expect a noticable air flow drop.
In order to keep the heat sinks and Intel microchips cool it is necessary to maintain a gap between
the intake air portals on the side of your computer as disclosed by IBM in their laptop patent which is discussed in the adobe
